Director of Information Technology

Description

Primary Purpose of Position: 

Responsible for leading a team environment which establishes, manages and maintains network designs, network performance, network process diagrams, multi-network connections and troubleshooting overall network issues. 

Supports Microsoft Active Directory, VPN, Microsoft 365, and VMware environment. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of key infrastructure systems including server hardware, software and security. Oversees the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches while ensuring the resolution of all software related problems. 

Oversees the monitoring and maintenance of the network infrastructure and remote locations. Responds, on a daily basis, to employees to address IT issues and requests as part of the ITM team. Oversees vendor and support contract relationships. Responsible for developing, implementing, and procuring equipment for new IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Administrator for technologies configured for High Availability and Disaster Recovery

Ø Maintain cybersecurity best practices to protect computer systems and data.

Ø  

Ø VMware Vsphere  and vSan Administrator

Ø FortiGate firewall and switch management and administration

Ø Monitor and fine-tune performance of the systems environment

Ø Microsoft 365 / Intune management

Ø Microsoft Active Directory

Ø Evaluate new systems engineering technologies and their effect on the operating environment and organization

Ø DarkTrace Security / Sentinel

Ø Microsoft SharePoint

Ø Microsoft SQL Server Support and related Scripting

Ø Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Ø Microsoft SRS / Crystal Reports / PowerBI and similar reporting

Ø Veeam Backup and Replication

Ø Sage Intacct assistance and integration of API’s and Connectors to Sage system

Ø FOS (Flight Operating System)

Ø Corridor Aviation System

Ø Shared on-call program

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications: 

Oracle, VOIP and Audio / Video experience a plus. Firewall administration. Diverse networking knowledge. Strong commitment to safety, security, and knowledge of API’s and Connectors, along with a commitment to top-level customer service a must is a must. Candidate should possess solid work ethic and strong business ethics, including honesty and integrity. Must enjoy working with a team and have the experience to lead one.

Minimal Requirements for Consideration of This Position Include:

Ø BS/BA degree in computer sciences, information technology, related fields or relevant work experience.

Ø Certifications in related applications, where applicable

Ø 7 or more years of progressive experience in technology field

Ø Previous leadership experience required
