As a Security Officer Chemical Entry Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter incidents and maintain a secure environment for everyone on site. You will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service while verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas. This position is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats or incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and procedures relevant to chemical and petrochemical operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• A valid driver's license in the job state that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
