The Opportunity:
CACI’s growing Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group is searching for an experienced Release Train Engineers with strong Agile delivery skills to support the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). You will be a servant leader working closely with government leadership, scrum masters, Agile teams and the entire ART (Agile Release Train) to facilitate ART events and coach the ART in delivering value. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate PI Planning Readiness, PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt (I&A) and other ART events.
Coach and mentor all Scrum Masters on the ART
Coach teams on Agile processes and foster Continuous Exploration
Help the ART assess its capacity and collect appropriate PI metrics around Outcomes, Flow and Competency
Help identify and remove ART level dependencies and risks
Build and maintain the program board to help focus everyone’s attention on the right deliverables.
Remove and/or Escalate impediments to flow, and foster culture of continuous improvement
Assist in the Development and Maintenance of PI Roadmaps and Program Vision
Summarize and Communicate team Program Increment Objectives
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (will consider experience in lieu of education)
Seven (7) or more years of experience that would include Scrum Master, Business Analyst or part of an Agile Team
Two (2) years of Release Train Engineer experience
Two (2) or more years of experience Leading Teams
Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer or SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) ideal
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Thrive in a technically and geographically diverse environment
Must be willing to pass NASA background investigation and/or obtain a DOD Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Desired:
SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) certification
Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer certification
Certified SAFe® Agilist certification
Federal business experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
