About the role
Position Description:
The OCOM Lab Facilitator is an independent contractor (1099), working as a facilitator in CBL, clinical skills, OSCE, and simulation courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and serve as a facilitator in case-based learning and clinical skills, OSCE and simulation courses.
- Work, as assigned by the department chair and/or course director.
- Teach medical students in all four years, residents, and physicians, as assigned.
Time Allocation:
Ability to teach in student facing lab courses for quarter-day, half-day, or full-day shifts based on needs of OCOM.
Requirements
Requirements:
- DO degree (preferred) or MD.
- A history of exceptional scholarly, professional and/or individual achievement
- Ability to work as an independent contractor (IRS Form 1099), with responsibility for managing own payroll taxes and business-related expenses.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must have own equipment and laptop computer.
