The Enterprise Campus Technology Services Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the technology infrastructure of our four-building San Diego campus. As a key member of our growing Information Technology Team, you will provide hands-on support for audiovisual (AV) systems and conference rooms.

This role bridges multiple teams within our IT organization, including Enterprise Productivity, Cloud Engineering, Device Management, and Platform Engineering, ensuring seamless technology operations for employees and visitors. You will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and enhance campus technology.

Responsibilities: 

  • AV & Conference Room Systems: Maintain, configure, and provide day-to-day support for AV systems, including digital signage, conference room technology, and event spaces.
  • Printers: Maintain, configure, and provide day-to-day support for on-site network printers. Including replacing toner, interfacing with the vendor for issues.
  • On-Site Technical Issue Resolution: Lead efforts in troubleshooting, remediating, and optimizing any on-site technical issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime for all conference rooms \ AV equipment and the stage.
  • Proactive Campus Monitoring: Regularly patrol and inspect IT infrastructure, including conference rooms, AV equipment, printers, stage and other systems to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Event & Meeting Support: Provide real-time technical assistance for meetings, Townhalls, conferences, summits, and company events, ensuring smooth operation of AV and IT systems. Participate in all campus events planning meetings, collaborating with various teams to plan and support their needs for campus events.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with systems engineers across different teams to enhance cross-functional support and deployment of technology solutions.
  • User Support & Training: Assist employees with hardware/software troubleshooting, provide training on AV and conferencing tools, and develop knowledge base articles for common issues.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of AV systems and IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and lifecycle tracking.
  • Incident Response & Documentation: Log and track technical issues, create reports on recurring problems, and contribute to IT process improvements.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure on-site systems adhere to security best practices. Maintaining security patching on all conference room \ AV equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in IT with a focus on networking and infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience with AV (Audio/Visual) technologies, including conference room setups and event support.
  • Strong understanding of client/server architecture and experience with Windows Server 20xx in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in AV systems, including projectors, video conferencing solutions (Zoom, Teams, etc.), and audio systems.
  • Experience coordinating and escalating technical issues with vendors and third-party providers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—team player, personable, professional, and energetic.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
