Position Details

• Hourly Rate:  RN: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
• Schedule: On-call as needed, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (based on clinical schedule)
• Location: 3777 Sparks Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546

Key Responsibilities

• Assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in teaching 56 essential CNA skills in a lab setting.
• Lead students through the clinical practicum, ensuring hands-on learning and skill development.
• Supervise CNA students in both lab and clinical settings, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
• Support students on their journey to becoming Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs).
• Deliver Person-Centered Planning services, ensuring a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
• Accurately track and manage data, maintain attendance records, and utilize interactive teaching methods.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal CNA training guidelines.

Requirements

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a RN. 
• Preferred: Experience supervising CNAs and/or working in a long-term care setting.
