Job Description

Summary

Provides support to the APN/ PA practice in promoting the professional development of advanced practice. Works to hire, onboard, orient and develop APN/PAs to the full extent and scope of their practice and license. Provides support and development opportunities for APN/PA staff; evaluates individual performance planning and improvement. Promotes advanced practice within the institution and outside to enhance visibility and access for patients and referring providers.

Area Specific Job Accountabilities:

•    Leads clinical operations and provides administrative and clinical leadership to provide expert care in assigned Divisions at Lurie Children’s and outreach sites.
•    Works with APN/PA staff to plan and provide essential coverage for daily operations. Ensures for the provision of efficient and effective high-quality patient care in the above noted departments.
•    Manages and monitors APN/PA performance planning and improvement process.
