Receiving & Shipping Clerk - Days - Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm 

• When coverage is needed, team member may be offered the opportunity to work 6am-2:30pm shift. 

 Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Receives items for shipment from department or incoming merchandise received from outside vendors to be delivered to departments throughout the hospital in accordance with established procedures. 
• Delivers supplies or reports in accordance with established procedure. 
• May check stock of items, as required, throughout the hospital. 
• Loads or stacks skids or delivery trucks with merchandise or reports to be delivered to respective locations. 
• Delivers shipments to appropriate department and obtains appropriate signatures as required. 
• Delivers supplies and materials by pushing or pulling cart or hand truck to assigned areas. 
• Unloads supplies at point of delivery. 
• Maintains delivery log recording time for delivery and submits to appropriate department personnel as required. Utilizes computer systems to input or retrieve information when needed.
• Assist in maintaining the work area clean and free of debris 

Required Criteria

• One-year related experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic PC navigation skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$28.65-$34.15/Hourly
