This position is scheduled for Monday to Friday during the day, with the possibility of one remote workday each week.   • Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate continuous quality improvement activities for assigned populations within the orthopedic service line.
  • Work independently and lead specific work groups focused on enhancing quality and patient safety.
  • Perform ongoing analyses of gaps in clinical care and barriers to care, aligning interventions with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Facilitate the organization’s performance improvement processes in collaboration with project team leaders.
  • Conduct training and educational programs for staff and physicians on performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, and other relevant topics related to quality improvement.
Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license required.
  • Must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred; other advanced life support certifications may be required based on department specialty as per patient care policies.
  • Experience in report writing and graphical display preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.
