Asset Manager Advanced Monitoring and OT/IoT

<h2>Function</h2> <p> </p> <p>The energy transition requires both the massive investments in new high voltage assets (e.g. overhead lines, cables, transformers, offshore) on the grid and the management of those new and existing assets during their lifetime. </p> <p> </p> <p>To make the right decisions on the maintenance and replacement of the assets, we develop and implement remote monitoring and control systems. Those systems typically uses sensors, controllers (I/O), (I)IoT or OT, monitoring platforms, AI/ML, robotics/drones to collect data and transform those to relevant information for Asset Management, Maintenance or Grid Operations.</p> <p> </p> <p>The mission of the Asset Manager Advanced Monitoring and OT/IoT is to develop the technical concepts, perform the Fleet Management (sensors) and verify the correct implementation as an Asset Manager. <br/> You will interact with the asset managers of the primary assets (e.g. overhead lines, cables, transformers) and secondary assets (control and protections) to manage the OT/IT interfaces of all primary or secondary assets, the sensors, software/firmware upgrades of those primary and secondary assets.</p> <h2>Your Profile</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Master degree in engineering;</li> <li>Attracted to new technologies and developments: IT/OT/IoT, sensors, AI/ML;</li> <li>Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment with different stakeholders: asset managers, experts, IT, Datacom, big data, innovation, technicians;</li> <li>Assertive and entrepreneurial;</li> <li>Open minded and able to communicate clear to different stakeholders (technicians, experts, managers);</li> <li>Besides a thorough technical background, a cost and risk awareness and reflex are essential.</li> <li>EN/FR/NL</li> </ul> <h2>Offer</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€8 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport &amp; culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results.  </li> <li>Insurance: group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, ambulant care insurance for the whole family and also personal accident insurance.  </li> <li>Vacation: You will be entitled to 20 vacation days and 5 additional vacation days, 6 local days, 4 exempt days (after 1 year of employment) and up to 5 long-service days (1 day for every 3 years in employment).  </li> <li>Social fund: Sinterklaas and year-end vouchers, birth and marriage allowance.
