Staff Accountant

Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

 General accounting responsibilities including preparation of sales tax returns and balance sheet reconciliations.  

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Processing Inter-company and vendor invoices

·      Handles balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.

·      Responsible for timely and accurate journal entry postings throughout the month for accounts as signed.

·      Assist in the Month-end and Quarter-end close process as required.

·      Complete monthly analysis of accounts as assigned.

·      Provide ongoing support for the development and enforcement of internal controls

·      Develop and maintain departmental or process documentation related to assigned accounts.

·      Preparation of sales tax return data for third party filer and review of prepared sales tax returns.

·      Assist with sales and use tax audits

·      Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred and proficiency in Excel required.

Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,000 - 65,000.

Confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
