An SAP Migration Lead will be part of the enablement team that would migrate customer systems from on premise to one of the cloud providers. The professional will manage the initial onboarding of the customers including Installation and subsequent data migrations. The individual must have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, databases and Cloud. He needs to be familiar with advanced cloud concept in Azure/AWS/GCP with expertise to run SAP workload on them. Additional responsibilities include managing, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.

 

The individual is expected to provide technical guidance, strategy, and direction on SAP Technical designs, implementations, and deployments of SAP solutions on Cloud infrastructure.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Design, build, test technical architecture for deploying Future SAP Applications.

•             Design a Single plane architecture for integration of SAP Applications and 3rd party Applications

•             System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios

•             Automate installaton of new products like bobj ,bods cloud connectors.

•             SAP Migration expertise on AWS/Azure and GCP

•             SAP Run expertise with public cloud

•             SAP Upgrade experience.

•             Experience with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Focused Run

               Design Disaster Recovery for SAP landscapes

•             Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery

               Hands-On experience as a BASIS administrator

•             Provide leadership for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives

•             Advance knowledge of AWS/Azure and GCP

•             Communicate project status, issues, and risks timely to all stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers.

•             Help manage Change Control, Issues, and Risks to ensure timely implementation of projects, including carrying out risk assessments, identifying project roadblocks, and driving mitigations/solutions

•             Work with technical and non-technical teams, including Customer Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams for efficient and effective resolution of project issues and escalations
