Security Assistant (24-001)

CTI is seeking a Security Assistant to support our growing security team. This position will be responsible for assisting with various security tasks and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of security procedures across the organization. The Security Assistant will work closely with the Security Manager and other members of the security team to support the company's security efforts.
Responsibilities of the Security Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of security access control systems, including issuing badges and maintaining access control logs
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alarms
- Assist in conducting security inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures
- Assist with the management of key control systems, including issuing keys and maintaining records
- Update and maintain security documentation, including security plans and procedures
- Assist with the coordination of security training and awareness programs
Requirements
- Must have an active U.S. government Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain security clearances.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional working environment
- Ability to work independently and participate as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
