SI&T integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, develop flight test requirements, and work together with our customers.
In this role, you will be supporting the successful completion of flight test events, platform integration laboratory testing events, and the associated analysis of test data. The position is in Tucson Arizona.
What you will do
- Perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure the system under test performs according to design, specs and/or requirements
- Perform data collection activities, including review and assessment of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results
- Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems. Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and/or fault tree analysis
- Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages
- Support field testing (Platform integration events to Richter Lab & AWL)
- Champion teammates. Foster respect, communication. Serve as mentor to newest team members
- Able to work in a high-paced environment
- Generate CR, CN, or VARs, complete data package and take to board (ERB/CCB)
- Monitor / manage upcoming tasks; assign resources (working knowledge on MS Project)
- Collaborate actively with CAM, IPT, TA, CE, attend weekly meetings to provide status, needs
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant systems integration and test experience.
Relevant experience includes four (4) or more of the following areas:
- Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration on military platforms
- Platform Integration and/or Flight Test experience
- Experience supporting field tests, or systems deployed in the field
- Experience evaluating requirements
- Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment
- Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues
- Experience with Verification and Validation methods
- Experience creating integration and verification strategies
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
- Strongly prefer existing DoD clearance
- Telemetry Analysis experience
- Experience performing maintenance and repair of weapons platforms, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution activities
- Experience in managing cost and schedule using Earned Value Management systems
- Technician experience maintaining, servicing, and inspecting military platforms, such as Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground Based, and ship-based platforms.
- Technician experience maintaining, handling, testing, and assembling of guided and unguided munitions
- Technician experience working on military platforms, such as Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground Based, and ship-based platforms
- Experience in integration with test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
- Experience managing and presenting technical data to Stakeholders and Customer community, in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
- Technical leadership with capture/pursuit experience, including contribution or authoring of white papers, RFI responses, proposal of technical volumes, or related experience
- Experience with RF spectral and temporal effects for sensor and backgrounds, including clutter, multipath, self-interference, grounding and shielding, and mitigation factors.
- Experience in integrating RF/EO sensor output, either modulated waveforms or streams of digital samples used for real-time rep
