PAE is looking for a Senior level Electrical Engineer Office Leader to help grow our presence in our Denver location. In this role, you will oversee project teams, provide technical engineering leadership, business development, and overall office performance. The role includes managing project planning and forecasting, guiding PAE’s design scope as Lead Engineer (and potentially Engineer of Record), securing new work, and maintaining strong client relationships. The leader will mentor staff, support company standards, enhance technical operations, and represent PAE through presentations and industry engagement.
What You'll Do
- Be the Office Leader for the Denver, CO PAE office location
- Project team leadership, management and organization
- Create and utilize tools for project planning, forecasting and progress tracking
- Technical leadership of PAE’s design scope as Lead Engineer. May be responsible as Engineer of Record (EOR) with approval
- Able to secure work to meet billing goals
- Active participant in firm leadership and management and engagement in PAEs success
- Interview for projects
- Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Lead business development activities and meet booking goals
- Present to clients, staff and at industry events
- Provide mentorship, training and development for staff
- Significant involvement in company standards
- Optimize and elevate the technical operations of the company
- Enforce the project quality management plan (QMP)
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering for discipline work
- 15+ years of industry experience
- Relevant professional credential within discipline (PE, CPD, RCDD, etc.)
- Must have significant experience in a management and leadership role
- Inspire and motivate staff
- Effective leadership and people skills
- Lead and manage projects successfully and profitably
- Demonstrate commitment to PAE
- Project leadership skills including billing, reporting, resource allocation and scheduling
- Financial and project management
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit/AutoCAD
What We Offer
- Hiring Base Salary Range: $135,800-$197,000 annual
