Global Finance Services has a mission to transform the delivery of services through the simplification, standardization, consolidation, and continuous improvement of underlying process. This will allow the delivery of improved productivity, better service, improved control and compliance and the creation of a scalable platform for growth and acquisitions. This will be in the context of a delivery model which is largely centered on a regional of the Americas Finance HUB.
Your Responsibilities:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
Performs the collections & disputes process and due diligence towards meeting KPIs for strategic customers.
Owns and executes accounting processes for collections activities related to Americas markets.
Performs analysis of accounts receivables and aging reports information in order to support decision making.
Review Credit Blocked Sales Orders.
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations.
Complies towards effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification.
Team work with Cash apps, credit, risk and other Hub areas in order to maintain control for accounts in charge.
Provides guidance to Analyst in difficult cases with customers.
Performs Reports requires for the area.
Provide credit committees information when is require.
Accountable for follow-up and resolution of actions agreed in the credit committee.
Responsible for preparation of monthly Overdue estimate for in-scope markets.
Catch – Up sessions with Supervisor to discuss operational issues, support required and agree short term priorities.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
Advanced student or University degree on a related field to Accounting or Business Administration.
2+ years working with Collections & Deductions processes on a shared service center environment.
Strong account receivables analysis skills.
Basic understanding of accounting processes.
Americas Order to cash experience.
SAP Knowledge
English upper intermediate to advanced.
Intermediate to strong Business applications skills (MS Office) and advanced Excel.
Preferred Experience:
However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:
Intermediate French language
Intermediate Portuguese language
