Pharmacy Technician Retail

What You’ll Do

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions

• Manage inventory: order, receive, stock, and track medications

• Support point-of-sale transactions and customer service

• Participate in concierge programs like meds-to-beds and curbside pickup

• Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, CMS, and Maryland Board of Pharmacy regulations

• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operations

• Handle data entry and communication with patients and providers

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Maryland Pharmacy Technician Registration or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire

• National Certification (preferred)

• Previous pharmacy technician experience (preferred)

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills

• Ability to work accurately under pressure and in a team environment

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology
