POSITION SUMMARY

Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA) GSI is seeking a multi-faceted Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems. In addition, the Senior Software Engineer will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will provide support on various projects, so the ability to adapt and prioritize projects is essential. As a senior engineer, you will be an integral and important part of the team and the projects they will support.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess or be able to obtain and/or maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• B.S Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of related software development experience, specifically C/C++.
• Experience working with Embedded and/or Real Time systems, specifically DoD sensor equipment.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Experience integrating software and hardware real-time systems.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience developing, integrating, and testing with Radar Systems.
• Strong math background with strong analytical skills.
• Experience working with the following: Qt Creator, Visual Studio, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Google Test, CxxTest, xUnit, CMake.
• M.S Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

WHO WE ARE

The Senior Software Engineer will support EWA Government Systems Inc. (GSI) located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. EWA GSI supports DoD and international customers by planning, implementing and testing systems and software for advanced radar and threat simulator systems. We specialize in the development of advanced radar systems and radar related products for the Department of Defense and other U.S. Government agencies.  Our radar programs involve all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and software design, fabrication, integration and test.
