About the role
Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home with comprehensive, gold-standard care created by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

About the role:
We are searching for a highly motivated and organized Registered Nurse to partner with prescribing providers to ensure efficient and effective patient visits. The RN will lead pre-visit planning efforts, coordinate care between internal/external provider teams, triage patient requests/needs, and manage same-day appointment requests. This position will work collaboratively with patients, families, and clinical teams, and provide condition-specific education to families/patients. The RN will perform solo visits with families/patients when indicated and will document appropriately. The ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably mental health or pediatrics.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to clinic physicians and prescribers
- Monitor and triage lab orders/results, inform patients and families of provider’s instructions
- Coordinate and lead pre-visit planning efforts and daily huddles
- Transmit and transcribe medication orders, refills, and field questions from families/patients
- Provide families with condition-specific education and medical management support
- Triage emergent issues and same-day appointment requests
- Medical liaison for own patient care panel
- Strong independent skills
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in at least one state in the USA
- 2+ years of experience as an RN in a clinic, home care, ambulatory, or inpatient setting
- Experience coordinating care with the entire family
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities
- Strong communicator with a high level of confidentiality
- Enthusiastic, strong team player a must
- Must live in MST
Bonus if you have the following:
- Experience in a remote or virtual care setting
- Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment
- Compact nursing license
- Case management experience
