Laboratory Attendant - Part-Time - Evenings

Bring your talent and ambition to the world-renowned laboratories at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.

 

Support the laboratory team in maintaining workstations in the clinical & pathology laboratories. The vision of this role is to serve in performing clerical duties, that includes receipt and tracking of clinical as well as pathology specimens within the Laboratory system.  This includes preparation, transferring and packaging of specimens to be sent to reference laboratories for testing.  Also, this role will assist with non-technical duties in the laboratories that includes inventory, clerical duties and other tasks as assigned.

This is a part time position, working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 3:00pm - 11:00pm, with rotating holidays.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Criteria:

• Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$22.44-$24.44/Hourly
