Position Summary
The Electrical Designer is responsible for electrical engineering design and the ability to create final construction drawings throughout the entire construction process. Depending on the experience level, this role may provide technical oversight and mentor less experienced electrical designers and drafters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Produces engineering design elements consistent with project specifications.
- Produces design elements and troubleshoots flaws in accordance with the project hours, scope, and parameters.
- Produces engineering construction documents based on project specifics.
- Manages project timelines and related design activity communication between the design team and the client accurately and timely.
- Provides assistance in the preparation of proposals and engineering agreements.
- Provides project coordination with in-house and outside sources.
- Provides timely consultation on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes and standards consistent with company quality standards.
- Accurately and consistently execute QA/QC process.
- Produces accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parameters.
- Provide timely billing of projects to the accounting department.
- Actively participates in post design activities and represents the company in client meetings, through construction completion.
- Actively mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Follows established company policies and procedures.
- Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
Required Education, Experience, and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or architectural engineering
- Must have Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
- Must have valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Proficiency in utilizing Revit to apply BIM knowledge to various architectural and engineering projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Minimum 2 years in electrical design engineering
- Sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Excellent communicator, organizer, and engage
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities
- Initiate and enjoy independent problem solving and working in the gray areas
- Successfully incorporate feedback and manage multiple points of view
