I.    JOB SUMMARY 

The Sr. Manager for Sourcing and Procurement Excellence role is responsible for developing and implementing best practices throughout the organization related to sourcing and procurement processes, vendor management, metrics and reporting, cost saving tracking, and material/supplier risk analysis.  
This role will work closely with the Sourcing and Procurement Executive Team to drive corporate initiatives, track and report performance and progress, and build relationships with stakeholders across the business.

•    Develops and implements tools to assist in knowledge management and transfer within a geographically dispersed team, included KPI tracking, dashboards, etc.
•    Develops the organizational capabilities needed to support the short-, medium- and long-term needs and plans for SS&P
•    Responsible for developing performance metrics and service levels; oversees ongoing performance improvement efforts for the function.
•    Provide support to Strategic Sourcing Category Leads and key stakeholders to complete essential risk management deliverables such as performance monitoring, business reviews.
•    Fully embraces the use of Operational Excellence tools and initiatives within the group and develops a culture of continuous improvement.
•    Work to transform SS&P into a full-service support function – ultimately increasing the amount of information and visibility end-users have into the strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
•    Supply risk management, responsible for overseeing and guiding material and supply risk management for the enterprise, partnering with cross organizational groups to accurately profile risks.
•    Ensure adherence to company policy including Sourcing and Procurement policies, and contract policies.
•    Manage and maintain strategic procurement processes and standards including documentation, vendor reporting, and operational efficiency metrics.
•    Support contract management platform through period review, alignment of processes and data reporting.
•    Serve as Global Process Owner for Sourcing and Procurement
•    Government compliance and supplier diversity engagement.
•    Direct supervision for positions aligned and in support of this role as determined by Head of Sourcing and Procurement.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
•    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business management, or equivalent experience
•    5-8 years of related experience within strategic procurement with understanding of global sourcing and procurement structure. 
•    Ability to work within a matrixed organization.
•    Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and /or global teams
•    Effective communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
•    Strategic and tactical thinking
•    Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners at multiple levels.
•    Ability to manage, prioritize and work cross functionally to influence behaviors and gain consensus  
•    Experience in Process Excellence or Lean principles and concepts  
•    Hands on experience with SAP preferred 
•    Proficiency in SmartSheet, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience in report generation and data platforms like PowerBI a plus
•    Experience with spend analytics and sourcing systems
•    Procurement process knowledge, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management, technology utilization, strategic planning and integrated supply chain experience 
•    High level cross-functional collaborator, both internally across company functions and externally with strategic suppliers.
