The SCS Scanning & Platforms team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can thrive in a non-traditional, agile environment at the cutting edge of cloud security. Our team is responsible for securing Microsoft’s clouds by operating internal security services with a focus on scanning, monitoring, alerting, and detections. We are looking for an energetic hands-on senior software ea sngineer to join a fast-paced team solving complex security and systems focused problems in the sovereign cloud security space.  You will work closely with Azure Security engineering teams, product managers, internal security customers, and central Azure organization leveraging the best platforms that Microsoft has to offer.  If you have experience working with high scale production security services, come and share your learnings; otherwise bring your passion and willingness to learn. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Envision, design, write and deliver software and infrastructure to improve the reliability, scalability, latency, operability, and efficiency of Azure security services. 
• Solve problems relating to mission critical services and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions. 
• Participate in periodic on-call duties to ensure 24x7 service health and reliability.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
