About the role

Job Summary

The Vice President, Business Operations will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing internal operations to ensure the efficient execution of our business strategies. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership experience, particularly in the SaaS industry, who can drive continuous improvement and manage complex projects across the organization.
 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee business operations for all cloud transactions across our hyperscaler partners.
  • Manage and support the cloud portfolio including first-party, third-party, and marketplace products and services.
  • Manage the end-to-end lead to cash process, including Salesforce.com and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimization of processes to enhance business performance.
  • Leverage significant experience within a SaaS business to drive financial performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance business operations excellence.
  • Lead operations projects with cross functional teams from Product engineering, IT, Commerce, Sales Operations, Field sales, and Hyperscalers.
  • Develop action plans to address and resolve operational challenges.
  • Comfortably manage shifting priorities and a variety of operational tasks.
  • Oversee NPI processes and understand their impact on operations, finance, legal, and sales.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new or changed products into existing systems.
  • Lead the revenue operations or deal desk operations function.
  • Manage the business intelligence function to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain the rhythm of the business (RoB) to ensure alignment and performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in business operations within the cloud services industry.
  • Strong background in data operations, quality control, and technical integrations
  • Expertise in managing product lifecycles, pricing strategies, and new product introductions.
  • Extensive knowledge of lead to cash processes, Salesforce.com, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful strategic project oversight.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize tasks, and drive resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to executives and collaborating with team members.
  • Experience with NPI processes and understanding their impact on various business functions.
  • Proven ability to manage revenue operations and business intelligence functions.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to balance detail with practicality.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers’ marketplaces is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM CPQ tools.
