About the role

Job Summary:

 

Core Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple audits and reviews throughout the year.
  • Perform detailed preparation and review of workpapers.
  • Assist with annual SOX compliance work.
  • Aid in the preparation of all SEC filings.
  • Assist in drafting monthly internal reporting.
  • Learn to monitor international reporting requirements for our rapidly growing, multinational, SEC-reporting entity.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls.
  • Develop training documents for departmental tasks to facilitate cross-training and improve task transitions.
  • Undertake periodic special projects as they arise.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred; minimum 2 years’ progressive accounting experience or a strong desire to learn more about technical accounting.
  • Previous experience in both public accounting and private industry is valued, with a focus on leading audits from the client perspective.
  • Strong sense of task-ownership and curiosity to learn new skills.
  • Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with SOX compliance preferred but not required.
  • Career progression demonstrating initiative to be an active problem solver.
  • Strong accounting acumen.
  • Experience with consolidated financial statements in a publicly traded company preferred.
  • Strong advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong desire to work in a rapidly growing and complex organization.
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to reprioritize tasks quickly.
  • Proven ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Commitment to professionalism in all interactions.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-lingual abilities are a plus.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
