You will be responsible for the end-to-end customer relationship in your territory and accounts by handling initial customer sales inquiries with the goal of selling new prospects and/or upgrading existing customers' products and services. This is a quota carrying sales role with a strong focus on delivering excellent service and outcomes to your customers. The Commercial Account Executive understands their customers’ challenges, needs, business goals and advises customers on product features, configurations, pricing, services, availability, etc to help customers solve their business challenges. Incumbents will have sufficient knowledge of product features and the benefits to customers.
The Commercial Account Executive participates in a sales training program and sales training activities that develop skill sets surrounding technology foundations, RSA solutions knowledge, sales and soft skills. They collaborate with their sales ecosystem to ensure their customers have the right resources to be successful with RSA.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Driving specific sales programs, outbound calling, and prospecting to grow RSA’s market share and develop new client pipeline.
- Handle initial customer sales inquiries with the goal of selling new prospects and/or upgrading existing customers' products and services
- Understands customers’ needs, challenges and business goals and advises customers of product features, configurations, pricing, services, availability, etc.
Essential Requirements:
- Can effectively interface at all levels from technical teams up to C-Level decision makers.
- Sufficient knowledge to understand product features and the benefits to customers
- Basic knowledge of contract interpretation, negotiations and project management
- Basic knowledge of planning
- Basic knowledge of company products and services
- Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Education & Experience:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree & at least 1 year of successful Sales Experience in a quota carrying role
