Note: In this role you will be able to work from home for the majority of the time, but you must live near Richmond, VA so you can report to the office when requested.

Position Overview
- Directs, manages, and evaluates functions of behavioral Clinical Reviewers to ensure unit productivity regarding contract deliverables and core functions. Serves in a supervisory and advisory capacity and provides oversight of behavioral health reviews for inpatient and outpatient services for behavioral health and substance use disorder.
- Responsible for day to day direct supervision of behavioral Clinical Reviewers and participates in hiring, training, and developing behavioral clinical review staff
- Manages behavioral Clinical Reviewers’ workloads
- Ensures that Clinical Reviewers meet established performance standards
- Provides clinical leadership and consultation to staff
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing clinical reviews for medical necessity of behavioral health and substance use disorder.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Supervisory position
- Licensed mental health professional licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Basic Qualifications

- Knowledge of Interqual or ASAM guidelines.
- Ability to prioritize, assign, and follow up on work.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to provide technical consultation and policy interpretation.
- Excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office basic skills.
