Responsibilities

Under the direction of Pharmacy Leadership, the Pharmacy Controlled Substance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention Program through surveillance activities, reporting, investigations, and process improvement. Activities include: report generation and analysis; process documentation and evaluation; facilitation of system planning; and project management. 

Qualifications

Education• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, or a closely related field required• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate AND 4 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree• Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, or a closely related field preferred  Experience• Experience participating on a project team and setting up project plan required• 4 years of experience in acute care hospital setting preferred  Licenses and Certifications• RXTECH - State of California Pharmacy Technician License preferred
