The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on Customer Support Processing Associate to support the Insurance Operations business. This will be a remote, work from home position.
As the Customer Support Processing Associate, you will be responsible for handling callouts to financial professionals and/or clients on complex data and financial transactions as it pertains to fraud prevention, ensuring that all information is complete and in good order. You will apply your understanding of financial transactions including but not limited to life withdrawals, surrenders, loans, and 1035 exchanges. Additionally, you will provide daily assistance for check and ACH approvals. You will share knowledge with your team to build technical capabilities across the business unit. What you'll be doing
- You will review increasingly complex data and financial transactions in accordance with established fraud procedures and guidelines independently, making callouts in a timely manner, and meeting departmental quality and production standards.
- You will review data to ensure the information is complete and in good order, communicating with leadership on any recognized trends of issues and/or concerns.
- You will communicate both verbally and in written form effectively with applicable internal and external stakeholders to obtain needed information while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- You will resolve customer contract discrepancies by investigating documentation and determining applicable adjustments.
- You will create and maintain up to date procedural documentation as needed. You will also share your diverse knowledge and information to enable less experienced team members to perform their assignments.
- You will assist with check and ACH approvals, ensuring transactions are in good order, funds are sent via the requested type (i.e. check, ACH, wire), and for the correct amount.
What we’re looking for
Must-have experience (Required):
- High School Diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience.
- 3-5+ Years of Client Customer Support and Operations experience that aligns with the responsibilities for this position; 0-1+ Years of experience for candidates with an Associate’s Degree or above
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/platforms/software.
- Ability to be adaptable/flexible as business needs change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):
- Life Operations experience and knowledge preferred.
- Some working knowledge of Concord Vantage, Fusion Vantage, Lifecomm system, CSA, CORPSYS, AWD and GIACT
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers) and strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
