Maintenance Lead (FRANKLINTOWN)

The Maintenance l\Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner.

The candidate will be responsible for the general janitorial duties and maintenance of the parking equipment at the One Franklintown Garage and the 1835 Arch St. garage. Minor landscaping duties will also be needed. Familiar with parking gates and pay stations a plus. Starting pay is 14.00 per hour. The part-time position will be between 20-32 hours a week. A background check will be required.

Basic Qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age or older
•  Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
•  High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:
•  One (1) year of prior HVAC o mechanical technician experience is preferred
•  One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience  is preferred
 
Responsibilities:
•  Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
•  Handle heavy workload of calls
•  Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return 
•  Manage workload and job scheduling
•  Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork  
•  Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
•  Keep manager informed of customer feedback
•  Communicate effectively and promptly
•  Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
•  Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
•  When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups 
•  Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
