his gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

What You'll Be Up To:

Strategic Analysis & Forecasting

• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles by preparing financial models, analyzing variances, and offering insights.

• Collaborate with business partners across the organization to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and challenge business drivers.

Data-Driven Decision Support

• Analyze large, complex data sets to identify performance trends, cost drivers, and revenue opportunities.

• Translate data into pragmatic and actionable recommendations to inform pricing strategies, operating efficiencies, and capital allocation.

Financial Reporting

• Monitor and report KPIs, variance analyses, and profitability metrics.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly business reviews and executive-level presentations.

Storytelling with Data

• Present findings in a pithy, compelling way—tailoring insights for different audiences including Finance leadership, department heads, and executive stakeholders.

• Build dashboards, decks, and visualizations that connect financial outcomes to operational decisions.

• All other duties as assigned

SuperPowers Required:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of work experience in finance, consulting, or a data-intensive role.

• While not required, experience in the cruise or travel and leisure industry is considered a plus.

Skills & Traits

• Financially literate—comfortable reading income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets. Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools a plus.

• Analytical mindset with a bias for action. You don’t stop at the “what”—you dig into the “why” and “what now.”

• Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can synthesize complex ideas and tell a compelling story.

• High curiosity and initiative. You ask questions, challenge assumptions, and seek out the hardest problems.

• Comfort with ambiguity—able to navigate incomplete information and still produce thoughtful analysis.
