Apex Clearing UI development teams are building the front-end for new products. We are working towards a goal of full CI/CD pipeline in a monorepo and a GraphQL middleware layer.

The Apex Clearing engineering team is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering (Front End) to give technical thought leadership and help design our next generation of UI’s. You’ll be working closely with our product teams to guide the features for the team to ensure we are building the best we can for our customers.

• You will oversee rapid prototyping of new ideas, the design and coding of new systems
• Establish, practice, and continuously improve an effective and transparent development process

• Work on strategy and help set direction while staying on top of the day-to-day software development

The skills you'll need to succeed:

• You have at least 1+ years’ people management experience, managing agile engineering teams with a focus on shipping scalable and performant software and infrastructure
• You have experience building high performing teams, including hiring and managing performance
• You have an understanding of highly performant and scalable front ends
• You have proficiency in the following languages/technologies: JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Apollo, GraphQL
• You know how to handle ambiguity and collaborate well with partner teams to drive backlogs that keep your team working towards the goals
• Financial services background is a plus
