Interior/Exterior Maintenance Worker ALove working with your hands? Enjoy being outdoors and indoors? We’re looking for a reliable go-getter who can help keep our grounds beautiful, our equipment running, and our buildings in tip-top shape. As an Interior/Exterior Maintenance Worker, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero, making sure everything looks great and runs smoothly. Whether it’s mowing the lawn, clearing snow, or helping with repairs—you’re on it!
You’ll work independently most of the time, but also be a team player, helping our maintenance crew and occasionally guiding outside vendors who help with lawn care, snow removal, and trash services. If you like variety, fresh air, and the satisfaction of a job well done, this role might be perfect for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Tackling basic maintenance tasks and keeping equipment in working order.
Helping with building repairs and general upkeep.
Operating tools and machinery—from mowers and snowblowers to weed eaters and hedge trimmers.
Making sure our outdoor areas stay neat, clean, and safe.
Coordinating with external lawn and snow services when needed.
Keeping safety front and center (because you’re smart like that).
Communicating with staff and contractors to get things done right.
What You’ll Need:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in grounds maintenance and equipment repair.
Know-how with lawn care tools and machines.
A valid driver’s license (if you’ll be driving) and a clean record per our Fleet Safety Policy.
Solid understanding of safety practices—you take care of yourself and your team.
Good communication skills to work with vendors and staff alike.
Physical coordination, good vision, and a sharp sense of smell—yes, really! (You’ll be working with plants, fuel, and machinery.)
If you like staying active, solving everyday problems, and seeing the results of your work right away, this could be your next great role. Come help us keep things running smoothly, inside and out!
