Leveraging deep clinical expertise and healthcare operations knowledge, this role guides clients through the complexities of wound care program development, clinical transformation, and patient acquisition strategies.

This consultant acts as a key partner to internal stakeholders and client leadership alike—driving innovation in care delivery, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting measurable improvements in patient outcomes. The ideal candidate combines consultative influence, hands-on clinical knowledge, and strategic thinking to support our customers’ business and care goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Strategic Consulting & Program Development:
    • Lead the assessment, design, and execution of wound care service line initiatives that align with clients’ growth and quality objectives.
    • Support the development of clinical protocols, staffing models, referral pathways, and patient engagement strategies specific to wound care.
    • Advise clients on expansion strategies for hospital-based outpatient departments, ambulatory wound care centers, or multispecialty clinics.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
    • Build trusted relationships with physicians, nurse leaders, operations executives, and marketing teams.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to help clients address clinical, operational, and regulatory challenges within wound care programs.
  • Clinical Workflow & Regulatory Expertise:
    • Provide expert consultation on wound care documentation, EMR integration, reimbursement (including CMS guidelines and appropriate coding), and evidence-based treatment pathways.
    • Ensure clients align with regulatory and accreditation requirements relevant to wound care services (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, state-level mandates).
  • Go-to-Market & Growth Strategy:
    • Guide clients on marketing strategies and physician referral development to attract appropriate patients and grow wound care volumes.
    • Collaborate on brand positioning, digital engagement, and patient education for wound care audiences.
  • Internal Collaboration & Enablement:
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and implementation teams to customize solutions for client-specific wound care needs.
    • Support knowledge transfer across teams and contribute to internal training content or documentation related to wound care best practices.
  • Mentorship & Change Leadership:
    • Coach client teams and clinical staff through change management initiatives.
    • Facilitate smooth transitions from current-state to future-state operations aligned with service transformation.
  • Engagement Oversight & Quality Delivery:
    • Manage timelines, scope, and deliverables to ensure consulting engagements meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Track utilization and project performance metrics to support internal and client reporting.
