Purpose
Provide administrative support to the Student Affairs team at the School of Information.
Responsibilities
Assist the MSIS Graduate Program Administrator with master’s admissions, scholarship administration and post-admission activities, and end-of-semester support for international students.
Provide general administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Education and Student Affairs, including managing her calendar. Provide scheduling support for the Assistant to the Dean upon request.
Assist with event coordination.
Assist the Students Affairs team and other offices at the School of Information with projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in an administrative role.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to self-start, learn quickly, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and follow through on tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively with others and to contribute constructively to a team environment.
Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of and previous experience using Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
