Purpose of Role

At Under Armour we are rethinking how e-commerce should be done and we want great engineers to help us create our next generation mobile apps. Your Impact

• Execute full lifecycle software development for the Under Armour Android app.
• Participate and architect extensible solutions in Kotlin.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code; document and maintain software functionality.
• Work closely with backend engineers to design and optimize client/server interaction model.
• Provide thoughtful leadership on industry best practices around design, testing, and security.
• Work closely with product teams to define and refine feature specifications.
• Lead integration discussions with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Kotlin and deep understanding of the Android platform
• Familiarity with complex layout design
• Experience with Android libraries such as Dagger, OkHttp/Retrofit, RxJava and JUnit
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
• High proficiency with using Git in a team environment.
• Experience working closely with product and design teams to break business requirements down into actionable engineering tasks.
• Comfortable working with RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with DataDog, NewRelic, or other APM technologies
• Experience with SalesForce Commerce Cloud

Base Compensation

 $123,747.00 - $170,152.40 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
