THE DEPARTMENT 

The Human Resources team strives to create a work environment where associates are enthusiastic about their jobs. HR is responsible for the implementation and execution of human resource functions and programs including compensation, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, benefit administration, employment regulations and compliance, recruiting, analysis and delivery of benefits, reception, and facilities maintenance.  

 

THE POSITION 

The Training Analyst assesses, develops, and delivers training programs to meet the evolving needs of the organization. Leveraging analytical skills and business acumen, the Training Analyst will identify training gaps, design curriculum, and facilitate learning experiences tailored to various departments and roles. This person will collaborate closely with SMEs to gather content, apply instructional design principles, and evaluate training effectiveness. The Training Analyst also contributes to process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment between training objectives and organizational goals.  

   

The Training Analyst is responsible for the following essential job duties and responsibilities: 

  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of departmental training needs by collaborating with stakeholders and conducting gap analyses. This includes assisting the set-up for Onboarding Plans for all roles 

  • Curriculum Development: Design comprehensive training programs and materials aligned with organizational objectives, utilizing instructional design principles and best practices.  

  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions for associates when needed,  utilizing various delivery methods such as instructor-led training, virtual sessions, and e-learning modules.  

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline training processes and enhance efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.  

  • Content Management: Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date repository of training materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility for associates.  

  • Evaluation and Feedback: Develop and administer assessments to measure training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants to continuously improve training programs. Prepare reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations for leadership review.  

  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with SMEs, departmental leaders, and global teams to ensure training initiatives meet organizational objectives and address specific departmental needs.  

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION 

The preferred candidate will hold a Associate’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. ; or two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

 

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED 

The preferred candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas: 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in training, instructional design, or related roles.  

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.  

  • Proficiency in developing training materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.  

  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, analyze data, and measure training effectiveness.  

  • Comfortable working with learning management systems (LMS), multimedia tools, and other technology platforms used for training delivery and administration.
