About the role

Who Are WeVoxel is building the future of Computer Vision and Machine Learning for operations, risk, and safety. We use computer vision and AI to enable existing security cameras to automatically detect hazards and high-risk activities, keep people safe and drive operational efficiencies. Our technology addresses the key cost drivers for workers’ compensation, general liability, and property damage, which cost employers over $500 billion annually.


We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a client-facing insurance brokerage background to join our team to help scale our partnerships in the insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with insurance companies to showcase Voxel and identify areas in which we can work with these organizations to scale our product. This will be a key position to the long-term success of Voxel, and you will play a central role in expanding and deepening our most important channel relationships. As the first full-time partnerships hire, this role requires an entrepreneurial drive, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

  • Support Voxel’s existing partnerships strategy by building new relationships across the entire insurance value chain
  • Build a strategy for scaling partnerships with insurance brokerages
  • Present Voxel’s value proposition and product demo to potential insurance partners
  • Relationship management with key national partners across multiple regions
  • Attend various insurance conferences and meetings to help increase market awareness of Voxel

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of account management or loss control experience at a major insurance brokerage
  • Deep experience helping clients mitigate workers compensation and casualty risks
  • Deep experience working with clients in the manufacturing, warehousing, retail, and/or construction industries
  • Background in managing relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background as an actuary or risk analyst, primarily focused on casualty risk
  • Experience in working with or for tech startups
  • Based in San Francisco/Bay Area
The pay range for this role is: $150,000 to $250,000 per year, including variable bonuses and equity. Base salary ranges may vary by experience and qualifications.
