Field Service Power Generation and Engine Supervisor (On-Site)

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation and Engine Supervisor (On-Site) to join our team specializing in field Service for our Cummins Inc. facility in New Hudson, MI.  

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Optimize Team Performance: Supervise and coordinate Service Technicians and Team Leaders, ensuring efficient work schedules, clear communication of repair plans, and high productivity and repair quality.
• Foster Professional Growth: Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to Service Technicians and Team Leaders, offering opportunities for their professional development.
• Support Technical Excellence: Offer first-level support to Service Technicians, escalating technical issues as needed to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Manage Service Logistics: Oversee the use of materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient operations.
• Ensure Accurate Communication: Develop and review repair quotes for accuracy, keeping customers informed of repair status and any changes to plans or schedules.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement activities to align with evolving customer expectations and organizational goals.
• Monitor and Address Repairs: Track the status of open repairs, addressing any issues that may impact the timely completion of repair plans.
• Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Monitor branch goals and targets, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, resolve warranty concerns, and build strong relationships with key customers through professional communication.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.

Additional Information: 

• This role is for a Field Service Engine and Field Service Power Generation Supervisor. Preferred candidates will have previous supervisory experience and experience with engines and/or generators.
