Overview

The AFC team is accountable for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks. The Fraud Investigations Team Lead will support in fraud risk management through utilizing fraud detection & risk mitigation analysis to support the overall fraud risk management framework - designed to monitor, identify and respond to external fraud risks across various business lines. The Team Lead is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the investigations team as well as conduct procedural reviews in order to ensure quality case investigations. In addition, the Team Lead will be expected to conduct case investigations as needed as well as participate in the development of technological enhancements.

What You’ll Do

  • Use independent and professional judgment when reviewing external fraud case investigations to ensure that the cases follow all policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards

  • Work closely with investigators daily to ensure that the work is prioritized based on staffing and capacity; Document own investigation findings in clear and concise reports for internal records, ensuring investigations and case resolutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures

  • Establish strong collaboration, sharing of expertise, and knowledge between team members and the supported business line

  • Participate in testing of new process implementations and improvements to ensure proper risk mitigation processes and monitoring activities are effective

  • Stay up to date on any new rules, regulations, and reputational risks to further improve fraud investigation processes

Skills You'll Need

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in a leadership/management capacity

  • Moderate experience conducting fraud investigations within a financial institution

  • Strong knowledge of Fraud and AML laws & Regulations

  • Knowledge of external fraud investigation processes, understanding the legal and compliance issues of complex banking organizations, Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $75,000 to $110,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
