NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Residential Mortgage Whole Loan Accounting Expert to work with our global client in New York City (open to 100% remote).

Responsibilities:

• Join our client in the development of their Residential Mortgage Whole Loan Trading initiative.
• Define the accounting classifications and regulatory capital methodologies for the Whole Loan Trading scenarios.
• Define and implement reporting requirements to facilitate the generation of the accounting regulatory capital calculations as well as the associated reporting to regulators.
• Help define the general ledger accounts/cost centers for Whole Loan Sales and Securitizations.
• Identify data needs (reporting & reconciliations) for all risk and operational areas.
• Gather information from Accounting System and translate into new data model.
• Help define reporting requirements for all accounting classifications and risk-weighted assets (RWA) methodology scenarios, including data elements required, format and timelines.
• Ensures Sales teams are enabled to focus on Sales by acting as trusted partner in owning client onboarding activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles related to Mortgage Loans (Whole Loan or Warehouse Lending)
• Contrasted experience in US GAAP
• Regulatory Capital Treatment
• Knowledge in Accounting Business Classifications (Held to Collect, Held to Collect & Sell, Fair Value)
• Knowledge of an Accounting General Ledger System
• Knowledge in IFRS
• Knowledge of Centricity System - Loan Management System (SitusAMC Vendor)

Nice-to-have:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
