What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Financial cost optimization of components, modules and technical concepts
- Preparation of financial presentations for decision committees and milestones
- Support project management in evaluation of financial impact of product decisions
- Target setting and alignment with process partners to secure Scout Motors' profitability
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team to forecast component cost for upcoming new vehicle projects
- Generate regular reports using component cost tracking IT systems
- Coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery within the Scout product development process (PEP).
- Configure parts lists to track cost of all trim levels, packages and markets
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan.
- The responsibilities of this role require 3-4 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 5 years of Finance or other relevant experience (Project Steering, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, etc.)
- Business Case planning and calculation expertise
- Knowledge of automotive technology and market (component cost, production, market trends and strategies, automotive process knowledge, cost market strategy, portfolio strategy)
