Virginia Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team and play a key role in advanced medical, diagnostic, and radiation therapy procedures.

Compensation:

$26 - $28 based on experience, skill set, & certification

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts
One 12-hour on-call shift in ER per month after cross training
This will be a Monday-Friday department eventually.

Your Role:

- Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring
- Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions
- Maintain and place IV catheters, ensuring proper patient care
- Accurately administer and document controlled substances & chemotherapy medications
- Provide compassionate client communication, from triage to discharge
- Ensure proper medical record documentation and OSHA compliance
