Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Fridays 8am-12pm Onsite, Moses Lake, WA

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Print product labels from various software and printers.
• Proof all labels for 100% accuracy.
• Troubleshoot software and printers.
• Prepare items for shipment in compliance with customer, quality, regulatory, and company procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact with internal customers on label requests.
• Work constructively as part of a team.
• Update department management for status of projects and support needed.
• Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by manager as needed.
• Design labels for products, packaging, and shipping containers according to regulatory requirements and company branding guidelines.
• Operate label printing equipment to produce labels in various formats, sizes, and materials.
• Inspect labels for accuracy, readability, and adherence to quality standards before application.
• Manage inventory of label stock, including ordering supplies, tracking usage, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure labels comply with regulatory requirements such as product identification, safety warnings, and ingredient listing.
• Identify opportunities to improve labeling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Complete all work according to established procedures.
• Suggest amendments to procedures if discrepancies are identified.
• Amend procedures for minor changes.
• Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
• Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
• Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
• Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting experience working with office printers.
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
• Work as a team and/or independently.
• Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge in Codesoft and Wercs software.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $22-$27/hour
