Position Overview
The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing Enerfab Power & Industrial’s quality processes across multiple projects and locations. With an established foundation already in place, this leader will refine and enhance our quality assurance strategies, ensuring industry compliance, top-tier performance, and client satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is networking internally and externally to ensure each project is staffed with the right people and supported by robust quality systems. Travel will be approximately 25-50% to job sites and regional offices.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Succession Leadership
- Act as a primary leadership resource for quality assurance matters.
- Provide visionary direction for the continuous improvement of current quality programs, aligning with Enerfab’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Serve as a role model, building trust and fostering a high-performance culture across project teams and within the organization.
- Oversee and enhance established quality control processes that meet or exceed project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct or coordinate regular audits, inspections, and constructability reviews to address potential issues proactively.
- Ensure strong collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors to uphold rigorous quality standards throughout the supply chain.
- Build, mentor, and empower a diverse quality assurance team, facilitating opportunities for professional development.
- Network internally and externally to identify and secure the right talent, expertise, and resources needed for each project’s success.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and open communication across all levels of the organization.
- Partner with Safety leadership to align quality and safety objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to risk mitigation.
- Interpret and enforce compliance with company, client, and government regulations related to construction methods, emphasizing a safety-first mindset.
- Contribute to maintaining an injury-free environment through visible leadership and consistent messaging.
