Cornell University, a nationally ranked Ivy League institution, is looking for an Associate Director, U.S. Regional Alumni Engagement to join the Alumni Affairs & Development division in Ithaca, NY.
Join our dynamic team to manage and enhance alumni engagement across various U.S. regions. This role involves working closely with volunteer leaders, curating regional programs, and supporting faculty speaker initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Manage regional alumni clubs in Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Minnesota, and Puerto Rico.
Provide programmatic support and leadership training to volunteer leaders.
Curate and implement staff-driven regional programs.
Oversee the faculty speaker program and collaborate with university partners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with alumni, volunteers, and university stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Proven ability to manage and support volunteers.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience in alumni engagement and program design.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency with social media platforms.
Valid driver’s license.
