About the role

Branded Research, a division of Dynata, is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual for the role of Product Manager. In collaboration with the User Experience Product Leader, the Product Manager will be responsible for the Branded Surveys research platform (B2C). This position plays a critical role in driving the success of Branded Surveys by ensuring it meets user needs, aligns with the company’s strategic priorities and delivers business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product's overall strategy, vision, and goals. Understand market trends, user needs and the competitive landscape to guide the product's direction.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Branded Surveys web, iOS and Android products. Create and maintain related documentation (PRDs, specs, marketing collateral, knowledge bases and SOPs).
  • Advocate for the user and leverage the needs, behaviors and challenges of users identified in research to inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including research, design, marketing, and development to deliver best-in-class product experiences. Translate these requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
  • Build consumer empathy by partnering with the consumer-facing support team to collect user feedback in order to identify & resolve consumer pain points through product solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap that outlines the planned features, enhancements, and releases over time. Prioritize features based on user impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead the product development process from concept to launch. Define user stories and collaborate with designers and developers to build and release high-quality features.
  • Coordinate and manage product releases, including defining release schedules, conducting testing, and ensuring a smooth rollout to users.
  • Establish KPIs to measure product success and proactively report results to key stakeholders. Regularly analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors' products and strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Own product marketing and craft compelling product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Participate in the curation and implementation of email marketing campaigns and website copy.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management in software, technology or market research.
  • Ability to think strategically and align product decisions with the company's overall goals and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions based on data and insights.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, business models, and revenue generation strategies.
  • Strong project management skills to proactively manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to exhibit strong systems thinking skills, effectively breaking down complex problems into coherent and manageable components.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in marketing is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $100-130K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
