About the role

Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring an Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Virtual Primary Care team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role

You will manage a panel of members within the states of Texas, New York, Florida, Arizona, Georgia and other Oscar states where we offer care or expand into. You'll keep a set patient schedule and will be the primary care provider for your panel. We're building this program from the ground up, so you'll engage with new products and tooling that we're rolling out for the virtual care service lines.

You will report to the Medical Director, Virtual Primary Care.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

  • Collaborate with registered nurses, medical assistant and clinical supervisory where applicable
  • Be available for on-call shifts and to answer important lab escalations.
  • Maintain a flexible patient schedule -- this may include scheduled early morning visits and early evening visits
  • Participate in collaborative care with virtual behavioral health specialists
  • Flex between Oscar's virtual products: primary care, urgent care, and health assessments.

Qualifications

  • DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program

  • 3+ years of primary care experience
  • 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
