Consumers National Bank is pleased to announce we are seeking a Deposit Operations Quality Control Associate to join our growing community bank. Job Specific Responsibilities
• Scan and index documents for record keeping purposes.
• Respond to Customer Resolutions/research requests from customers, branches and internal departments
• Perform SSI and AVS verifications
• Aid in the processing of Garnishments, Levies & Subpoenas
• Review and approval of documentation to ensure requirements are met
• Review account maintenance relative to source input and/or for accuracy
• Communicating and clarifying information regarding submitted items with retail staff.
• Process Mail
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate personnel, handling routine customer inquiries
• Perform back-up duties for other Operations Department staff positions as assigned
• Perform other related duties as may be requested or assigned
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior bank operations and/or a minimum of (1) year teller experience required
• Prior office and multiple telephone line handling experience are helpful.
• Computer literate with hands on experience in a windows based system; moderately proficient in Microsoft integrated software, including, but not limited to Word and Excel.
• Able to exercise appropriate independent judgment and act on it.
• Exhibits visual speed and accuracy; is analytical, mathematical, and possesses creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to take oral directions; strong time management and organizational skills.
• Logical, organized and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure; demonstrates flexibility and the ability to grow with and respond to a changing work environment.
• Strong telephone and customer service orientation and skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
