Position Summary
Technical Consultant III follow FM Engineering Standards and communicate recommendations and/or engineering solutions to ensure client understanding. Strong communication, listening and relationship building skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans
- Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
- Develop draft reports and work with the Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
- Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, energy companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
Other work duties as assigned.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong technical knowledge in applicable field (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
- Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude
EDUCATION:
- 15+ years of experience in specialized field (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
- Professional certification or Bachelor's degree
Working Conditions
- Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance in and out of a lab environment.
- Travel may be required.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS:
- Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required.
